HDB Eligibility for DBSS

From 30 Aug 2010, first-timer households with monthly income between $8,001 and $10,000 may buy new DBSS flats with a CPF Housing Grant of $30,000. This revision will be applicable to DBSS projects launched for public sale after 30 Aug 2010.

Income Ceiling
Your gross monthly household income must not exceed $10,000 if you are applying for a DBSS flat from Yishun PH1 and Tampines PH2 onwards.
Your gross monthly household income must not exceed $8,000 if you are applying for a DBSS flat in projects launched before Yishun PH1 and Tampines PH2.
Your gross monthly household income must not exceed $12,000, if you are buying a DBSS flat with your extended family, For more detail, you can refer to the illustration on the computation of the higher income ceiling.

Ownership in Private Property

You, your spouse, any occupiers listed in the Application Form or their spouses must not own or dispose or have an estate or interest in any other flat, house, building or land*
Within 30 months before the date of application, and
Between the application date and the date of taking possession of the DBSS flat

* includes but not limited to:
HUDC flats (Privatised and Non-Privatised)
Properties acquired by gift
Properties inherited as beneficiaries under a will or as a result of the Intestate Succession Act
Private properties
Properties owned/acquired/disposed through nominees regardless of properties location.
